Established on 01/10/1975 the Economics Department of Arya Kanya Degree College was one of the first courses started in the college. The department offers a course that allows the students to explore the economics study and analysis, policy framing, and implementation issues of the Indian global economy. The students participate in various seminar and talk so that they can delve into and inspect various facts of economic policy and enhance their cognitive ability.
The department seeks to reach the standard of excellence in teaching and research. The department started its Master’s program in 2018 and since then they have been catering to the intellectual curiosity of the students.
The Head of Department is Dr. Renu Jain. Other faculty members include Dr. Amit Pandey, Assistant professor, Dr. Shyam Kumari, Assistant Professor, Ms. Prachi Verma, Guest Faculty and Dr. Damini Srivastava, Guest Faculty.
