Welcome to the Maharshi Dayanand Library of the Arya Kanya Degree College, A constituent College of University of Allahabad, Prayagraj. Maharshi Dayanand Library was established in 1975. It was established to cater the needs of the students and teachers of the College. The college library is a vital resource for Arya Kanya Degree College both supporting the curriculum and providing reading for pleasure.
The library holds about 15200+ books, Journals, 3135800+ e-books (from NLIST), and 6200+ full text e-journals from NLIST . The Central Library has been using the SOUL, an integrated Library Management software package with all the modules for the library housekeeping operations. Using WEB OPAC, users can search the Library catalogue by Author, Title, Subject and Keywords from anywhere and any device.
The mission of the Library is to provide information services, access to bibliographic details and printed resources to support the scholarly and information needs of all students, faculty members and staff. Our library is well equipped with modern facilities, print and electronic resources in the forms of books, journals, reports, etc.
