Library Rules:
- Every user taking a book out of the library shall be responsible for the book and shall return it undamaged.
- Any member entitle to use the library, if found guilty of mutilation or damaging any book or journal of the library will be liable punishment to be decided by the Library Committee / Librarian.
- Text Books to be issued for 15 days only. The issued books must be returned to the Library on or before the date of return. Returning book late shall attract fine.
- In case the book is lost/ misplaced by the member he/she has to replace the same with a new one or shall be required to pay the cost of book at current price.
- Books issued to members are not transferable.
- One will be held responsible if any damage is found at the Circulation Desk while returning the book issued to a reader. Readers are advised to carefully examine the books at the Circulation Desk while issuing the book.
- Not the disturb the order of the books on the shelves.
- The user/members shall maintain perfect silence in the library reading halls. Talking loudly, gossiping, chatting, etc. is strictly prohibited.
- Running, pushing passing gestures and teasing is strictly prohibited. Eatables and soft drinks are not allowed in the library.
- Use of mobile phone is prohibited in the library. Mobile phones should be kept under silent mode in the library.
- Every user must sign the register available at the entrance.
- Personal belongings like bags, umbrellas etc are to be kept at property counter. Library reserves the right to check the contents of the items deposited at property counter.
- No library material can be taken out from the library without permission.
- Anyone who violates the rules and regulations of the library would be liable to lose the privilege of library membership.
- Attendant at the counter is authorized to examine any books or the reader at the gate.
- Computer is to be used for academic purposes only. Online Chatting in the E-Library is not allowed. Readers must carry their Library ID card while using the E-Library. Changing the settings and display of the Computers kept in the E-Library/Reading Hall are not allowed. Playing games on computers is strictly prohibited in the entire Library premises. Students should take care of their Pen drives, CD/DVD ROMs, Cell Phones, and Wallets etc.
