Department of Commerce was established in the year 2018 as a vibrant part of Arya Kanya Degree College. With the help of dedicated professors and students, the department has become stronger and more enthusiastic throughout the years. The Department can now proudly state that it has the tremendous strength of 455 students, along with 3 qualified and experienced faculty members.
The department places emphasis on practical learning through projects, curating insightful events and seminars, and workshops at field levels by experts drawn from both academia and industry through which we let the students to deep dive into the corporate work culture and understand the roadmap to various commerce and management fields.
The curriculum intends to foster entrepreneurial abilities while also helping participants strengthen their managerial, organizational, and accounting skills. Company secretaries, chartered accountants, cost/work accountants, banking, finance, and management, among many more professions, are just a stated number of the higher education options that the department makes available. The department has a placement cell that helped 17 students in the academic year 2021-22 to get jobs.
The department has three faculty members. Ms. Sriya – M.Com. NET qualified (pursuing Ph.D.), Mrs. Madhuri Yadav – M.Com. NET qualified (pursuing Ph.D.) and Mr. Manan Singhal – M.Com. NET qualified.
